In September 2007 Couture Fashion Week New York exceeded all expectations and delivered the largest and most distinguished audience of socialites, diplomats and VIPs during New York Fashion Week at a single event. Also attending were press and media from around the globe including Book Moda (Italy), CBS, Fashion TV, PBS, and television coverage from Turkey, Costa Rica, China, Russia as well as photographers, editors and writers from a full range of fashion and lifestyle publications. From the electrifying performances by award-winning violinist Alexander Markov and the Masacote Dance Company to the intricate garments by international fashion designers hailing from all corners of the globe, the shows were a feast for the senses. The venues this season the Westin in New York's world-famous Times Square and the exquisite St. Regis Hotel. At the Westin, the stunning atrium soaring seven stories was transformed into a glamorous catwalk and filled to capacity with appreciative guests enjoying the shows from the main floor as well as from the balconies overlooking the runway.
The fashion shows at the St. Regis were held in the breathtaking Roof Ballroom with cocktails and exhibits in the Versailles Ballroom accompanied by the performance of accomplished guitarist Kenny Cunningham. LA Fashion Awards by Saturn
On October, 26, 2007 wiil tyake place the decernation of fashion awars: LA Fashion Awards, in downtown of Los Angeles.

Debbie Matenopoulos, host of E's "The Daily 10," the top-rated "Fashion Police" and Style Network's #1-rated show, "Instant Beauty Pageant," will host the 2007 LA Fashion Awards. Set for October 26th at the Orpheum Theater in downtown Los Angeles' Fashion District, the awards honor excellence in Los Angeles fashion, from designers, retailers and communicators to the marketing geniuses who have helped position LA as a true worldwide center of creativity and innovation.
Known for her quick wit and equally dynamic style, Matenopoulos was the perfect choice to host, according to Jen Üner, the LA Fashion Awards co-founder and executive producer. States Üner, "She's fresh, funny, clearly a fashion aficionado, and so LA. She'll add great energy to the ceremony." Confirmed presenters include award-winning vintage fashion experts Cameron Silver & Christos Garkinos of Decades/Decades Two, fashion editor & retailer Rose Apodaca, world-renowned accessories designer Tarina Tarantino, and "Project Runway" favorite alum, fashion designer Nick Verreos.
The LA Fashion Awards presented by Saturn takes place on October 26, 2007 at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, from 7pm to 9pm. Exhibition with sale of silver design
To celebrate 100 years of silver design HL Brown is holding an exhibition open to the public with free entry from 10-24 October.

Yorkshire jeweller HL Brown is to hold a public exhibition and sale of contemporary and 20th century silver to celebrate 100 years of silver design. The exhibition will be held at HL Brown’s Leeds store from 10-24 October and will feature contemporary pieces from names including Liberty, Omar Ramsden, and Katey Felton.

HL Brown’s exhibition is entitled '100 years of silver design' and includes pieces by the foremost silversmiths and designers of the 20th Century. The likes of Georg Jensen, Liberty & Co, Tiffany & Co, and Gerald Benney will be represented among many others.
