She wants to help the environment that's why she chooses to create o line of clothing simply called "Creative Vintage" a line who incorporate function, practicality, wearability and of course high style.
Some Like it Vintage Press Release:
Vintage by default is eco-friendly as it is used clothing. Helping the environment, vintage clothing is a recycling process using little or no energy resources. Where possible, bio-degradable products are also incorporated in cleaning procedures.
In 2007, Some Like it Vintage expanded into a private line of clothing simply called ‘Creative Vintage’. Re-designing and re-constructing vintage garments extends them a second life. Putting an urban and modern feel to a vintage garment while maintaining its history is another way to reduce waste.
Items are carefully chosen to incorporate function, practicality, wearability -- and of course high style. The quality of vintage clothing often surpasses anything made today and not only is it environmentally friendly, it is a fun and unique way to shop.
Helping to educate and stop domestic violence against women and their children, 10% of all sales are donated to local women's shelters . 1 in 3 women at some point in their lives, will be abused by someone they know. Women in all positions of life are abused and yet most are too embarassed or fightened to speak about it.
Owner Veronica Cizmar has courageously recovered from a severe abusive relationship with her former fiancé. Held hostage by him for 18 months, he is now serving an 11 year sentence. Since launching in 2006, Ms. Cizmar currently fills her time with running Some Like it Vintage.com, donating to women's shelters and studying martial arts.
Upcoming events at Some Like it Vintage include free shipping days November 17-18th, another $500 shopping spree contest October 15-November 15, and participation in the winter Clothing Show held in Toronto during December.

Hottest color this season for ladies over 50
Purple is the hottest color this season, a color of wildness and passion. Ladies over 50, also Victoria Beckham and other celebrities support “Red Hats and More”.
Some of the top designers showcast purple this season.
Press release:
Celebrities Victoria "Posh" Beckham, Deborah Messing, and Kirsten Dunst may not be close to 50 yet, but they’re following a fashion trend this season that Red Hat Society® women have been supporting since its inception—wearing the color purple. In their signature purple and red outfits, Red Hatters are ladies over 50 who join together to live life passionately (and also pooh-pooh the strictures of fashion etiquette). But why purple? “Purple is a color that reflects a sense of adventure or wildness, so it’s very fitting for Red Hatters (whose motto is to leave life’s responsibilities at home and go out and have fun) to wear it,” said Pam Schenkel, president of the Rochester-based Red Hats and More, the leading retailer of Red Hat products with sales over $1 million.
Donna Karen, Oscar de La Renta, and Marc Jacobs are just a few of the top designers showcasing the color purple this season. Stores are filled with clothing and accessories of this hugely influential color and come peak season, everywhere will be awash with the color purple. It also looks great with gray, which is this season's base color. "It’s only natural that beautiful shades of purple gain importance,” says David Hacker, vice president of trend and colors at Kohl's. “There is nothing more inviting than a gorgeous shade of purple in satin."
Red Hats and More has attracted a large, interactive, customer-based community through online photo contests, blogs and newsletters. “Our Red Hat customers love to send us photos of themselves all decked out in their purple regalia—we pretty much live and breathe purple (and red) around here, so this season’s “in color” is exciting for us and our customers,” said Schenkel.
