2007 Earnshaw's To Announce Children's Fashion Award Winners

23 categories will be awarded for the 2007 Earnie Award. The event will take place on October, 15, 2007 at Jacob Javits Center in New York Earnshaw's is the premier media resource serving the children's market, including apparel, juvenile products and gifts.

NEW YORK--Earnshaw's, the leading children's apparel trade magazine, will announce the winners of the title's coveted Earnie Award at its annual cocktail party and fashion show. The Earnies is the only industry-specific award ceremony that recognizes fashion design excellence. The party will be held on October 15, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. at the Jacob Javits Center in New York and will coincide with the ENK Children's Club trade show. The centerpiece of the evening is the runway show, which showcases the winning brands in a lively, engaging themed parade of pint-size models.

"Every month Earnshaw's celebrates children's clothing with imaginative, directional fashion layouts and in-depth industry coverage, which makes the magazine a trusted resource for retailers and manufacturers alike," said Caletha Crawford, associate publisher and editor in chief. "With the Earnie Awards, we give buyers the opportunity to express their appreciation for collections that offer style and function to moms, grandparents and gift-givers throughout the year."

This year, the Earnie Award will be given in 23 categories, including the infant and toddler market, girls' wear, boys' wear, sleepwear, swimwear and accessories. Nominees were selected by a committee consisting of children's wear experts; the winners were then voted for by retailers across the country.
