Globalization in Fashion proved at Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week, one of the most important events in Fashion host this year, for the first time Indians designers. Them participation shows us the globalization even in Fashion.

Manish Arora, a young designer from New Dehli, who has 75 boutiques all around the world, presented a glittering first Paris show on Sunday night after four successive seasons in London. She consider that Paris is the city of Love and Fashion and that is very important to present her clothes in Paris Fashion Week show.

"I think it's very important for Indians to be recognized as designers at an international level." said Manish Arora.

A second Indian designer, Anamika, will present next Sunday her collection.

Paris Fashion Week, which follows New York, London and Milan, includes designers of 10 different nationalities but India's debut reflects the growing interest in Indian fashion and the country's increasing importance in the world economy.

"In the time of Christian Dior, there were one or two designers who set the tone for the planet. Today it's globalization, different expressions are being married together," said Didier Grumbach, head of the French fashion federation.
