Liberté Clothing Press Release:
Liberté Clothing, the company that espouses “Free to Speak, Free to Wear” has signed onto the upcoming Fashion Fights Poverty fashion show in Washington, DC on October 26th. The D.C. based fundraiser brings together national and international designers that champion ethical trade and environmentally and socially conscious ideas. Liberté opened its doors on January 17th of 2006. Since its inception Liberte has espoused a deeper belief in freedom, independence and the power of fashion to express these beliefs. Liberté’s design team brings together fresh young designers eager to explore the foundations of community, the principals of conservation and the essential right of freedom.
“Fashion Fights Poverty represents a social outlook and activism that Liberté designs convey,” states Liberté CEO and President Josh Toth. “While Liberté prints all of our designs on-site, we employ American Apparel for our clothing and we were very excited to see that they were a Fashion Fights Poverty “Dress Responsibly Lookbook” Contributor. Liberté is always glad to work with like-minded companies,” adds Toth.
With many charitable events and benefits in the future, Liberté is eager to not only expand to a wider audience, but also educate and inspire the customer.
After opening its doors on January 17th, 2006, Liberté has doubled its sales and retained a devoted local following. Liberté has grown from a small t-shirt company to a popular apparel line with endeavors in both philanthropic activities and local music sponsorship. Liberté provides unique clothing with a vintage look and feel while also incorporating the fundamentals of freedom and equality around the world. The showroom, located in Burke, VA, has a boutique atmosphere while also housing all onsite printing and design services. Liberté is also available for custom design and group orders.
