Great Clips will open the first brand salon in Ontario

This winter in Ontario will appear Great Clips, one of the largest brand salon. The salon will be the first salon in the area of Toronto.

North America's largest single-brand salon, Great Clips, is pleased to announce it will be coming to Oakville,Ontario this winter. While there are more than 2,600 Great Clips salonst hroughout North America, this will be the first Great Clips salon in theToronto area.

The walk-in, no-appointment salon is expected to open by the end of theyear at the Shoppes on Dundas at Dundas Street East and Prince Michael Drive.Oakville's first Great Clips franchisees are Anne Marie Brereton and AndresBasanta of Cambridge, Ontario.

The husband and wife team decided three years ago that they wereinterested in investing in a business. "We specifically wanted an opportunitythat would provide significant investment and still allow us to continue withour current careers." After careful research, the duo found that the GreatClips model matched their entrepreneurial plans.

Over 65 percent of Great Clips franchise owners reinvest in thebrand by opening more than one salon; Brereton and Basanta plan to followsuit.
