Style Star looks models!

Style Star announced today the launched of the company on the Los Angeles market. The company makes from every girl an "runway model".

Style Star Press Release:

New fashion events company, Style today announced its launch into the greater Los Angeles market. This unique company -- the brainchild of former runway model and fashion publicist Nancy Lucas, in partnership with fashion stylist Elin Litzinger -- plans and executes high-end runway fashion shows for special events such as birthdays, bat mitzvahs, sweet sixteen and other celebrations.

Style Star's mission is to make every girl's "runway model" fantasy come to life. Lucas and Litzinger bring all the production elements of a professional runway show to each of their events with lighting, popular music soundtracks, top of the line hair and make-up and a full array of designer clothing and accessories for the show participants.

Lucas has styled some of the most recognizable names in Hollywood during her tenure as a senior public relations executive with companies including Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana and Chanel. Stylist Litzinger whose background in fashion styling includes major advertising and editorial projects, is also an instructor at Los Angeles' Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM).

Style Star's new brand identity was designed by artist and author Chesley McLaren, whose celebrated illustrations are featured in the best-selling Princess Diaries and Zat Cat! A Haute Couture Tail, in addition to gracing the pages of Vogue, InStyle and The New York Times. Lucas and Litzinger offer two major themes from which the party girl may choose. Modern Chic will provide all suitably high-end fashionable looks with clothes that include important pieces from today's most popular designers.

For the girl with impeccable taste who may want something a little different, a Vintage Vogue presentation -- think Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys -- has been created to include fashions from some of the industry's most memorable designers of past decades. Additional customized themes can be created upon request. Each party guest will be professionally styled from head to toe and trained for her all-important walk down the runway during the party celebration, with the guest of honor featured in the most important look -- the finale dress -- to close the show.

Style Star then provides an edited CD of the show, which the host can send to each of the show participants following the event.

Style Star is based in Santa Monica, California. Offices in New York and other regional areas in the US are slated for 2008.
