TAO Project with Nexia & Landis for promotional video

Today was announced the newest partnership concerning The Afghanistan Orphanage Project ("TAO Project") with Nexia & Landis for promotional video. Let's see how things happened:

Nexia Holdings Inc a diversified holding company with operations in fashion retail, health & beauty and real estate, announced that Nexia and its subsidiary Landis Lifestyle Salon ("Landis") have teamed with The Afghanistan Orphanage Project ("TAO Project") to assist in community outreach and promotions.

The TAO Project filmed a promotional video at Globus Relief, the weekend of October 13, 2007, in honor of their 501(c)3 stamp of approval from the IRS, effective August 22, 2007.Nexia and Landis sponsored the event, providing a catered meal and professional hair and makeup services for the staff, including the reigning Miss Utah and TAO spokesperson Jill Stevens. Professional photography and portraiture was provided by Grant Heaton Productions.

The event doubled as a social gathering for the community. "We are honored to have their support," says Jared Jones, Chief Operations Officer of The Afghanistan Orphanage Project."We certainly could not have done this without their help and are excited to move forward in our creative partnership.

"The TAO Project collaboration with Nexia and Landis extends to filming a compelling video promotional – the first step toward creating a moving mini-documentary. The TAO Project has commissioned NB Films, Inc. to film the documentary in the hopes of raising awareness and funds for their cause. The documentary will follow the efforts of the TAO Project members as they journeyback to Afghanistan.


Richard Surber, president of Nexia, said, "We are honored to help the team at TAO with their next promotional project. Their mission is a lofty one - to build one of the largest orphanages in Afghanistan."

"We look forward to helping them create an impactful promotional video that conveys the importance of their message." The TAO Project anticipates that the promotional will be posted to their website by November 15, 2007. The website will serve as a hub for viewers to track the progress of the documentary.

Contributors will be given access to exclusive online content, to include weekly video journal updates and behind-the-scenes interviews.
